Product Description

The 23500-L2910 voltage regulator is a device that keeps the voltage to your forklift's electrical system at a safe level. This component is located in the alternator and sometimes mounted on it. It works by monitoring the current running through your battery and adjusting it to ensure it is within a certain level regardless of the input voltage. This is a Voltage Regulator with Part Number: 23500-L2910.

This part is also listed under the following part number:

  • KO23500-L2910

  • LI23500-L2910

How Does This Voltage Regulator Work?

This voltage regulator works by taking an AC signal from the alternator and rectifying it into DC. The rectified DC voltage is then fed into a comparator circuit that compares it with a reference voltage generated by a Zener diode. When the two voltages are equal, no current flows through the Zener diode; otherwise, current flows through until they reach equality again.

Voltage regulation is hugely affected by the power supply. Since power coming from the battery is not defined, this factor can greatly influence voltage regulation, making this operation dynamic.
